ANNA E. HENDERSON is a New York City-based photographer focusing on the human form across various genres. She weaves various mediums through her photographs, from visual to performance art, while striving to imbue them with an innate sense of movement and tactile quality. Her personal work explores facets of the human condition and interpersonal relationships, as well as themes of queerness, womanhood, and chronic illness supported by writing, physicality, and environments.
She holds a BFA in Photography and Imaging from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with minors in dance and creative writing. She has an extensive background in dance performance and choreography; her choreographic work has been performed by CityDance Conservatory dancers and the dancers of NYU Tisch.
